Overview

A walk around Great Massingham takes you through a classic Norfolk village of flint cottages, wide greens, and a series of picturesque ponds where ducks and geese gather. Robert Walpole, England's first Prime Minister, was educated as a child at a private school in Great Massingham, Norfolk, which was associated with St. Mary's Church, where an upper room in the porch served as a schoolroom.
