Overview

Hello Everyone

Our last 2024 venture into Derbyshire takes place this Sunday with walk leaders Jan & Karl's sortie over to Dovedale and Thorpe from Ashbourne. Varied terrain including parts of the Tissington Trail, field and riverside footpaths, a little road walking, a few stiles, and the Dovedale stepping stones assuming they're passable. We'll divert if not. Some hills - as you'd expect in this part of the world - make this a Moderately graded walk.

Our leaders also advise of an interesting cake selling establishment en route (that accepts cash only).

Why not join us? You're most welcome come along and try us out. Great if you could let us know a day or two beforehand please if this is your very first walk with ourselves. Thank you!

Registration: 09.15. Walk start: 09.30.  Walk leaders: Karl & Jan (07403 756416 & 07917 875509)

Loo's available a few minutes after the start, and also twenty minutes or so before lunch break.

⚠️A day parking charge of £6 applies at our start point. Car sharing from Hednesford is therefore encouraged.

Post walk refreshment venue to be decided on the day.

Looking forward to seeing you all there on Sunday morning.
