We are the Andover Ramblers. We open the way for everyone in our local community to enjoy the pleasures of walking.
A lovely figure of eight walk from the pretty village of Avebury taking in some of The Ridgeway, the White Horse Trail, East Kennett village and the Long Barrow and skirting Silbury Hill.
There are options to walk reduced distances of 4 or 8 miles if needed. At the end of the walk, there will be the opportunity to walk around the stone circle and have an ice cream.
Don’t forget National Trust membership card for the car park.
Meet to car share / convoy at Stannah Parking Bays, Anton Mill Rd Andover. If leaving your car there, please put 'Andover Ramblers' note in the windscreen area. Parking by permission of Stannah. If you intend to go directly to the start point then inform the walk leader before hand in case of cancellation etc
