Overview

From the carpark we follow the river towards Aylesford train station before heading through some residential roads towards the river at Barming. The return following the Medway Valley Walk back to the start point (2 stiles). Depending on the day we can have multiple stops, with 1 longer break for byo picnic lunch, possibly at East Farleigh lock. There are a couple of pubs at the end of the walk in Aylesford, The Chequers and The Little Gem.

Terrain: Well marked footpaths, including riverside, woodland and residential. One very gentle incline. We do cross over a couple of railway lines towards the end, not busy.
