We are the Surrey Heath Ramblers. We open the way for everyone in our local community to enjoy the pleasures of walking.

An undulating walk approximately 10 miles long. Starting at Sonning Eye It takes us a little way along the Thames Path, towards Reading. We will cross the river and continue to Balmore Walk, then on to Emmer Green and Dunsden Farm. We then stop for at Loddon Brewery where lunch can be purchased. Before returning to Sonning.
Any one who does not want to do the full walk could leave the walk at Cavendish lock, approximately 3.5 miles, and make your own way back to Sonning.
There are eateries close to the lock for refreshments.
There are two stiles, some road walking and a loo stop just past Cavendish lock.
