Overview

We leave the pub and climb 160 feet to the wood where we can look back at the housing development where the old cement works stood! The site was filled with the spoils from digging the HS2 tunnels at Old Oak Common.
We ramble on to Harlton for our stop near the pond and return via The Whole Way, descending Cracknow Hill to join Long Plantation and onto the Royal Oak pub. Fingers crossed the chips are as good as they used to be!
