Overview

Baslow-Beeley. (Chatsworth Estate).Two options: both options include Jubilee Rock, Hunting Tower, Emperor  Lake and Beeley Bridge. Option one (8 miles easy/moderate, 800 feet of ascent) continues along the river past Chatsworth House back go Baslow. Option two (10 miles, lower moderate, 1200 feet of ascent) ascends to Calton Houses for lovely views of Chatsworth House, descends to Edensor and follows the river to Baslow).

9:00 Birdwell car park in Moor Lane for car sharing/lifts

10.00 in the public carpark in Church Lane, Baslow. DE45 1SR

To avoid £5.10 parking charge, park on Church Lane at the entrance to the carpark. If this is full, park on Eaton Hill, on the opposite side of the road, next to Il Lupo restaurant, and walk down to the carpark. DE45 1SB.
