This 6.5 mile walk follows the Bath Skyline National Trust route before returning to the city for the Christmas market in the afternoon

Walk details
We'll follow the Kennet & Avon Canal out from the station before joining up with the main Bath Skyline route around Bathwick Meadow and beginning our ascent. At the top of the hill we'll find the Sham Castle as well as fantastic views over Bath. Then we will follow the contour of the hill around the university before heading back into the city for our Christmas market social.

The 10.25 from Reading arrives in Bath at 11.19. This train also stops in Didcot at 10.39.
By car
Parking is available in Bath – the two nearest car parks to the start point are the station car park and SouthGate Mall car park. Charges will almost certainly apply.
