Overview

Hello everyone, let's hope it's third time lucky this Sunday! We have a moderate “In & Out” walk starting from The Nelson on to Pipe Hall Farm through Leomansley to Beacon Park then returning via The Heart of England Way.

Mostly on field paths, woodland and quiet lanes, a steep bank footpath access plus sections of the busy Abnalls Lane and the A51 to cross twice.10 stiles.

Directions: The Nelson Inn, Padbury Lane, Cresswell Green, Burntwood, Staffs. WS7 9HL From Cannock or Rugeley and Lichfield take A5190 to Burntwood, at the Swan Island (White Swan pub) turn left or right into Rugeley Road. After 1.00 kilometre turn right at Nags Head pub into Nether Lane, bear left after 650 metres then after 200 metres turn left into Coulter Lane after a further 200 metres turn sharp left into Padbury Lane then immediately right into Car Park. Please park on far left hand side. Please contact walk leader before leaving home in the event of potentially adverse weather conditions.
