Overview

On leaving the Eden Place car park we walk through Hellhole Wood to East Tanfield station; we follow the railway line to Causey Arch then head up to Andrews House station. On the Tyne-Wear Trail we cross Hedley Fell, and skirt the Beamish Museum site, on our return to Eden Place car park. We are mostly using good footpaths and tracks, with some road walking, without any difficult ascents.
