We are the Chase & District Ramblers. We open the way for everyone in our local community to enjoy the pleasures of walking.
Our first evening walk of the season takes in the forests and lakes of lovely Beaudesert Old Park at the southern end of Cannock Chase. Some steady hills, some nice wide tracks, and some not so wide tracks too - just to make things interesting!
Do come along and join us, especially if you're new. It's a great opportunity to try the group out without committing yourself to the longer mileages of our Sunday events.
Our start point at Castle Ring is located on the northern edge of Cannock Wood village and is signposted from there. Best approached via the A5190 Cannock to Lichfield road from Chase Terrace, then north for 2 miles on the dead straight Rugeley Road into Cannock Wood.
Registration: 18.45. Walk start: 19.00 prompt.
