Overview

From the car park we will make our way through the town, stopping to view the impressive town clock before making our way to Bedwellty Park.  From the park we will make an ascent up to the Cholera Cemetery and pond before heading onto the ridge, passing a large cairn on our way to the trig point of Mynydd Bedwellty.  We will then retrace some steps to access a lower path that will take us to the Bedwellty Quarry engine wheel.  The route then takes us down through woodland to Bedwellty Pits where we follow the cycle path back to town.
