Estimated 7 hours’ walking, including 2 hours of easy walking along an undulating forestry track, then back along a flat tarmac cycle track in addition to the usual 5 hour route up Ben Ledi, by starting at Bochastle car park, where there is more parking. Well maintained hill path for the usual ascent, but rougher with some boggy sections and a stepping stone river crossing on the descent through Stank Glen.
For those who want to car share, we will meet in Milngavie Station Car Park for an 08.30 departure.
Petrol contribution £6.60.
Please let Fiona know if you are going directly to the start, parking in Bochastle car park, GR NN608081 to start walking by 09.45. The car park is clearly signed and on the right hand side of the A821 road from Kilmahog to Aberfoyle just beyond the Lade Inn.
It is a B+ walk - see our website for an explanation
