Start and finish will be the carpark at Pistyll Rhaeadr (one of the 7 wonders of Wales) near Llanrhaeadr-ym-Mochnant SY10 0BZ
Carpark £5, Toilets 50p, Café onsite
There is a dead-end single lane road with passing places out of the village to the waterfall, stay on this road until you reach the car park, do not turn off as some sat navigation will try and take you off the road.
The route will be from the base of the waterfall around to Llyn Luncaws, this is a gradual rise up from the waterfall along the valley, From the lake there is a steady steep climb up on to Cadair Berwyn (2714 Ft) and the Trig Point on the North Top. From there we head along to Moel Sych (2712Ft) and then along the ridge line down to the top of the waterfall, where for those who want there will be a chance to have a swim/dip in the pools, before heading back down to the car park.
