We are the Manchester Coach Rambles Group. We open the way for everyone in our local community to enjoy the pleasures of walking.
Coach leaves Chorlton Street at 8.50 am, picking up at the following:
approx 9.10 am - A56 Stretford, bus stop before Radnor St, opp Public Hall;
approx 9.20 am - Washway Rd, bus stop outside Sainsbury's near Vine pub;
approx 9.30 am - Old Market Place, opp Orange Tree, Altrincham
Three walks (No walk A)
Walk B. Leader Mary H. Linear from Llanrwst. North Llanrwst station, Trefriw, Fairy Falls, Llyn Geirionnydd, Llyn Crafnant, Nant y Geuallt, Swallow Falls, Betws y Coed. Strenuous, 13 miles, 2580' ascent, 10 stiles, narrow paths.
Walk C. Leader Brian. Betws y Coed circular via Snowdonia Slate Trail, Capel Garmon, Gwninger, Garthmyn, Waterloo Bridge, Betws y Coed. Moderate, 8 3/4 miles, 1200' ascent.
Walk D. Leader Dave G. Linear from Llanwrst. Bryn Derwen, Oaklands, Garthmyn, Pen Gallt y Foel, Betws y Coed. 6 miles, 1020' ascent.
Coach will leave Betws y Coed at 6 p.m.
The ground may be muddy so please wear suitable footwear. Please bring a change of shoes, boot covers or something to clean your boots before getting back on the coach.
