From the riverside car park the walk will follow part of the Worcestershire Way, climbing towards Ribbesford Hall, which has World War 2 connections, then on to Park End. From here we will descend to Long Bank where we cross the main road and enter the Wyre Forest. We will have our lunch in this ancient woodland then take the former railway line from Tenbury Wells, paralleling the Dowles Brook right down to the River Severn. We will then follow the Severn Way alongside the river through meadows, caravan sites and the town itself back to the start.
Post walk refreshments can be had in one of the many pubs and cafes in the town centre.
The first part of the walk involves a steady climb, then it is downhill to level sections in the forest and by the river.
