This is your chance to use your imagination, meet up with friends from our group and raise money for Karl's charity!
We supported Karl earlier in the summer in his 1000 mile walk to raise awareness for Sudden Arrhythmic Death Syndrome. Karl was doing his walk in memory of his wife, Carli.
The walk is 3 miles round Eartham Woods...and the important bit is....in fancy dress! It's a leisurely stroll on tracks and paths. Then a bit of social afterwards in the seating area of the car park.
There will be prizes for:
- the person with the most fruit and veg incorporated into their costume, real or fake.
- the person with the tallest hat.
- the person with the cheapest bridesmaid or long dress purchased from a charity shop. Open to men and women, Ramblers is inclusive after all.
It is £5 entry per person on the day, and all the money goes to the charity. The event is open to all group members, partners and families.
We leave the car park and head north to Stubbs Wood. From there we take a track through North Wood to the signpost in the woods at Stane Street, then back to the car park. This is a stroll!
NOTE : THIS EVENT IS ONLY OPEN TO MEMBERS OF SW-SUSSEX RAMBLERS
Please book with the leader.
