We are the Broxtowe Ramblers. We open the way for everyone in our local community to enjoy the pleasures of walking.
A gentle descent of Biggin Dale, to walk along the river Dove for a while before ascending via another dale, to the Tissington Trail, then back to Biggin. The descent is gentle but rock strewn and there could be standing water following rain and rocks could be slippery; the ascent is fairly steep, hence the walk overall is graded 'Moderate'.
Please bring packed lunch - there are no facilities en route. Pub at start and end.
Park on the roadside near The Waterloo Inn (please do not park at the pub). The pub is likely to be shut on arrival but open at the end (pending check!)
