Overview

An undulating walk takes us through farm and woodland with some moderate climbs and descents. Parts of this walk can be relatively challenging and include stiles and potentially muddy riverside areas. Our efforts are rewarded with some great views of Calderdale, including Barkisland, Greetland and Stainland.

This is a winter walk so waterproof clothing and boots are strongly recommended. Bring a packed lunch and warm drink. Some refreshments may be available in the nearby pub at the finish point, for those in need of a stiff drink!

Well-behaved dogs are welcome but may need assistance over stiles, and to be kept on a lead as we cross farmland.
