The walk is mainly on well-defined tracks and covers a range of habitats: wide open areas, sheltered sections and a little woodland, plus some fine views. A walk that anyone interested in natural history should enjoy.

If the weather has been wet, parts of the walk can be muddy - wear suitable footwear.
