We are the Mansfield and Sherwood Ramblers. We open the way for everyone in our local community to enjoy the pleasures of walking.
This first stage is a linear walk and starts at the market cross in Ashbourne. Following the route Bonnie Prince Charlie & his troops followed to reach Derby. The walk passes through woodland & farmland with magnificent views and takes us up to Osmaston passing through the old American Airforce base and onto Osmaston village past the old watermill to Shirley, then on to Longford.
