Overview

We walk SE via Slaley and on through the wood to cross the A5012. Then SW through Middleton before turning R up to the Middleton Top visitor centre (toilets). Then a loop SE cutting through the bottom of Middle Peak Quarry and then onwards to the astrological circle on the hill close to Wirksworth. Then down the hill, across the B5023 and N up through the National Stone Centre and NE towards and through the W side of Cromford, then N up through woods to Upperwood and NW before dropping back S to Bonsall.
