Overview

This walk uses public transport to Mill End by catching the 10:30 850 bus from Reading.

This walk is a 5.5 mile circular walk from Mill End to Henley and return but there is an option to those wishing to cut the walk short at 2.5 miles and catching the return bus from Henley.

At Mill End, the walk starts via the footpath over the spectacular and picturesque Hambleden Mill, over the weir and lock, to join the towpath to Henley where there will be a refreshment break. Afterwards there is a choice. For those wishing to walk no farther there is a bus back to Reading, every 20 minutes, from Hart Street Henley. For those wishing to continue the walk back to Mill End,, the return walk will take a different route via Aston and the Flower Pot Inn to Mill End where we will catch the bus back into Reading.
