We are the Mid Berks Ramblers. We open the way for everyone in our local community to enjoy the pleasures of walking.
This is a linear train walk from Taplow station to Windsor via Eton following the Jubilee River. Most of the Jubilee River is a Nature Reserve hosting a wide variety of wildlife and flora (Bee orchids are often seen on this route). Bring a packed lunch to have en-route and possibly afternoon tea/coffee in Windsor before we head home from Windsor Central station.
Meet at Reading Station at 09:40 to purchase an off peak return ticket to Windsor Central using a rail card or group booking for discount. The train actually is scheduled to leave from Reading at 09:59 from platform 14. Contact Mike or Gloria to let us know you are coming at least 24 hours before the walk.
