We are the Mid Berks Ramblers. We open the way for everyone in our local community to enjoy the pleasures of walking.

This is a traditional Mid Berks celebration on New Years Day. We congregate under the sheltered exterior of the 'Black Barn' and then open the nibbles and snacks which include mulled wine and fruit juices plus all the celebratory snacks that participants bring along including mince pies, sausage rolls, crisps and all sorts of other snacks to share. We then enjoy the feasting and socialising. Following the feasting there will be two optional walks organised. One walk will be a a leisurely normal paced walk of approximately 3 miles in the local area led by Maggie, but also there will be a slower paced STROLL of 1-2 miles led by Monica.
Car parking at the Black Barn is a donation of £2-£3 and will be collected by Maggie and passed on to the owners after the walks. Please bring some snacks/nibbles to share at this event if you can. Please note that the venue is Meet and Park(donation) at the Black Barn, Rushall Manor Farm off Back Lane. Bradfield. GR584724. NOT RUSHALL FARM which is a neighbouring farm.
