Overview

Leaving the car park at Boroughbridge we follow the path east along the river Ure to the point where it is joined by the river Swale. We then head north along the Swale to the restored Myton bridge where we stop for lunch. Following a look at the very pretty village of Myton-on-Swale we will head back along the bridle path, road, fields & river bank to Boroughbridge

there are a number of information boards on the significance of Boroughbridge in the Middle Ages
