A great walk from Newton Linford up through Bradgate Park to Old John Tower then to Beacon Hill Country Park, outskirts of Woodhouse Eaves , through Swithland Wood back to Bradgate Park. Amazing views, great moorland with crags, superb woodland, reservoir, stream, deer, ruins and plenty of history.
Some hills but no steep climbs with good paths and a very small bit of mud.
Plenty of toilets (five or six lots!!) and a couple of cafes.
