Brampton Old Church, Walton and Lanercost from Brampton

From Brampton the walk follows the quiet metalled road to Brampton Old Church.  After looking round the interesting old church yard we will follow field footpaths to Walton where we join the Hadrian’s Wall path as far as Lanercost.

After lunch by the river at Lanercost we follow Quarry Beck  through the woods before emerging at Quarry Beck House.

From here we return to Brampton along the foot of The Ridge.
