Brassington, Carsington, High Peak Trail, Roystone Grange, Ballidon

From the old quarry just outside Brassington, across fields to Carsington, and up to High Peak Trail.  Walking past the ancient setttlement of Rainster Rocks, and neolithic Minninglow, descend to Roystone Grange and down tracks to Ballidon.  Passing the church, a short climb up a field, then a further descent and ascent to Pasture Lane and back to Brassington.  Mainly firm tracks and trails, few muddy fields anf very few stiles.
