We are the Mendip Ramblers. We open the way for everyone in our local community to enjoy the pleasures of walking.
West Mendip Walkers moderate 9-mile circular walk from Brent Knoll to the coast and back. Starting from the community shop in Brent Knoll village the walk goes straight up Brent Knoll to admire the 360 degree view at the top. It then descends through the foothills and continues across the Levels. In Berrow the route crosses a golf course and down onto the beach and proceeds towards the Burnham beach lighthouse before turning inland and along a bit of urban area before escaping out across the Levels and back to Brent Knoll.
Dog friendly with few stiles. There are a few bits of road and a golf course where dogs should be kept on the lead.
