Overview

Walking out along the higher Offas Dyke  route to drop steeply down to cross the River Wye at Bigsweir and returning along the Wye valley walk reached via a steady climb up to Pen y Fan to gain further river valley views on the return.

The Offas Dyke section takes us through St. Briavels common and the Hudnall’s, an area of small fields and narrow lanes that has changed little over the years.
