Overview

Hello Everyone

Announcing an addition to our programme.

We have a Wednesday morning walk for a change. Just a short one from Burntwood to Lichfield then returning by bus to near our starting point. Also for a change our linear route is predominantly downhill😂😂.

Woodland tracks (plenty of bluebells) and field footpaths in the main. We'll have a short coffee break en route followed by a longer lunch stop in Lichfield's Beacon Park where there's also a cafe and loo's, before heading off to the bus station. Once back in Burntwood we'll finish the day with a short walk over the fields back to the cars. Just a couple of stiles and maybe some muddy bits if we get much rain beforehand.

This is an ideal opportunity to sample the group over a shorter distance compared to our Sunday walks. Do come along if you can make it.

Registration: 09.45. Walk start: 10.00.   Walk Leaders: John & Carol (07761 545764)

Our own members should note that there isn't a Hednesford rendezvous for this local event. Please go direct to the start.

See you there!
