Overview

This easy walk affords some lovely views across towards Gower and may offer an opportunity to see and hear oystercatchers feeding along the shoreline.

We will start by heading east along the coast from Burry Port, either through the dunes or on the beach according to the state of tide.   We will then head into the trees and walk round Ashpits Ponds before stopping for lunch at teletubby hill, and will then retrace our steps along the coast.

Some of the paths around the ashpits may be muddy and puddly if it has rained recently.

Please note the northern section of the path around Ashpits Ponds is located under electricity pylons.
