Overview

This walk is approximately 5 miles. It is a walk of paths and fields. We go up Marston Hill which gives us a view of Edge Hill (see picture). There will be a rest stop in Pillerton Hersey at the Church of St. Mary (see picture).

If it continues to be wet, it is possible some areas will be both wet and muddy. It is advisable to walk with a stick or pole(s) and appropriate footwear. There is  one stile

We will start the walk from the memorial in Bank Close. Please park carefully respecting peoples property access. Parking is available on both sides of the Close. From Southam travel through Bishops Itchington, Gaydon, and Kineton. Turn right in Kineton by the churh and almost immediately left and take the Bridge Street road (signposted Butlers Marson and The Pillertons) through Little Kineton to Butlers Marston. Bank Close is on the right when you enter the village
