We are the East Dorset Ramblers. We offer friendship and company on walks of from 5 to 15 miles from the Purbecks to the New Forest and beyond.

Catch No.7 bus on the island to Calbourne (SZ 425 868) to start walk at 11:15. Walk via Tennyson Trail to Carisbrooke (SZ 487 881) finishing at 15:15. Take No.7 bus back to Yarmouth. Planned return ferry leaves at 17:05 and reaches Lymington at 17:45 approx
Return ferry ticket £23.40 (£17.40 for over 60s). Tickets should be bought in advance at wightlink.co.uk rather than on the day (20% discount if member of AA - ask leader). Bus fare on IoW £2 per journey, free with a bus pass
LYMINGTON park and meet at Wightlink Ferry terminal (£9 for 16 hours) to catch the 10:00 ferry - board no later than 09:45
