Challenging A walk via Ramsdean, QECP and Chalton
Undulating A walk with numerous ups and downs (over 2000ft of ascent). Stops for mid morning snack and lunch. Poles may be helpful and can be muddy in places if wet.
CANCELLED due to recent rain and more this evening - risk of slipping on steep descents etc and finding more impassable lanes/footpaths too high .
POST RECCE UPDATE 5 Feb 26 - A lot of water around making some lanes and roads nearly impassable (with no easy detours) - lots of mud and ankle deep flowing water. I will reassess Wed 11 Feb as it could be cancelled if the rain continues to fall - watch this space.
