Overview

Walk out past Butley Priory to Butley Ferry, along the river, round Boyton Marshes to Boyton and past Rendlesham Forest to the start point. A mixture of arable, river wall, woodland and quiet roads. We may see some seals!

Taking the Orford Road from Melton. Pass the Butley Corner Picnic Site and the turn to Rendlesham Forest Centre. Then take the right hand turn signed Butley Low Corner / Capel / Butley Priory. In about 3/4 mile turn right signed Capel St Andrew. Park on the grass verge on the right hand side.
