Overview

An 8 to 10 mile walks from Woodhouse Eaves to Beaumont Leys. Meet at St Margaret's Bus Station at 9.10am fro 9.20 bus to Cropston. (Centrebus 154.) The walk itself starts from Woodhouse Eaves (junction of Main Street & Maplewell Drive). The walk will go to Beaumont Leys via Rushall Field Farm, Swithland, Bradgate Park, Ansty & Castle Hill Park. From Beaumont Leys there are frequent buses back to Leicester. (Please note that 5th July is a new date for this walk. It was originally scheduled for 21st June 2024. Also the start point has changed from Cropston to Woodhouse Eaves.)
