Overview

Join this interesting walk through parts of the city of Cardiff, taking in significant landmarks, Sophia Gardens, part of The Taff Trail and on towards Llandaff Cathedral.  Here there will be time for a browse around this beautiful historic building and its locality.  Our picnic lunch will be within the ancient city walls area known as The Pound.  Website link given below.

Our return walk crosses the River Taff and brings us closer towards Cardiff Castle and opportunity for a coffee stop (optional) in the city centre before heading on our journey home.

This is a very flat walk.
We will start in the city centre and detailed meeting point will be confirmed when walkers book into the walk with the leader.

The start and finish times coincide with anticipated trains to and from the South West of England and Bristol. (Can be subject to change.) It is strongly recommended that walkers arrive in the City of Cardiff by train.
