Cardrona-Innerleithen-Minchmoor link

This walk begins at Cardrona village hall and follows the shared use track to the south to cross the River Tweed and then branch off along the riverbank to Toll Wood. The route re-crosses the Tweed and heads for the forested area to the south east. After ascending to a viewpoint the route intercepts the Minch Moor track and descends to Traquair village hall for lunch. From here paths and pavements are used to reach Innerleithen where the A72 is crossed before ascending to another viewpoint. Then a descent is made through fine woodland to eventually re-cross the A72 and reconnect with the shared use track, which is followed back to our start point in Cardrona.
