Overview

This walk is a coach trip embarking from Lossie Green Car Park, Elgin.

Càrn an Fhreiceadain is an easily reached but fairly featureless Corbett (878m) with good views out over the Monadhliath mountains and also down to Kingussie. Landrover tracks up onto the plateau can make for rapid going on a circuit from Kingussie.

Co-leader (training) Rhona Cooper.

There is a shorter walk option around Loch Gynack - 7 miles / Moderate

Please contact the walk leader Nick Bishop (07541 841 298) if you have any questions. Please leave a message remembering to leave your name and contact telephone number.

Please Note: The Estimated Finish Time shown below is when the walk is due to end, however the walk start time can vary due to road conditions on the day. On our return journey to Elgin, the coach has a stop-off for ‘refreshments’ therefore we cannot give a fix time for our return to Elgin.
