Overview

A mostly circular walk from Castle-an-Dinas Iron Age Hillfort, then into the valley to the River Menalhyl, Wooded paths and lanes with bluebells and wild garlic. No stiles. Boots, food and drink. Sylvia 07541 060754, Pauline 07949 626185

Meet at the free car park, St Columb Major nearest post code TR9 6JB / SW 946621 Take the A30 from Bodmin, turn off at the slip road for Victoria [Cornwall Services], head towards Padstow. After passing the caravan site look for a small sign on the right saying Ancient Monument, this is the lane up to the car park, it is uneven so drive carefully.
