Overview

We leave the centre of Usk town, passing Usk Castle, gradually climbing through a lovely wooded area before entering fields.

There are 2 gates we have to climb over and several stiles during the walk.

Whilst the route takes us through undulating ascents / descents, we will experience some stony paths and muddy areas.

Beautiful open countryside leads us to the river Usk for our return to the town.

Poles would be useful for the tricky parts of the walk
