Overview

Cromford Locks through the village and along to Heights of Abraham, to Bonsall, back to Cromford for a lunch stop. Then to Black Rocks, High Peak Trail and back along the canal.

A varied walk with historical interest. As it is a figure of eight it would be possible to do just one half with planty to do if not walking it all.

This is a popular walk whcih we have not done for some time. There has not been recent recce but mainly good well used paths so no problems anticipated.
