Overview

This 8-mile route across a mix of open fields and woods includes a 2.5 mile section of the Chess Valley path from Sarratt Bottom to Latimer, passing by old cress beds and through nature reserve meadows. We gather and park adjacent to the Bricklayers Arms pub in Flaunden. A light, 'walkers' menu from the pub will follow on the group WhatsApp. If you are lunching, just let the walker leader know your choice by Tues,15th July. If you are not using the pub, simply park at the far end of the long car park. Underfoot conditions should good on this largely flat walk. Bring refreshments for one stop.
