We are the North Hampshire Downs Ramblers. We open the way for everyone in our local community to enjoy the pleasures of walking.
10.15 FOR 10.30 Start - SUNDAY WALK - Chestnuts and Finchampstead Ridges (Approx. 5 miles)
A lovely walk through woodland and farmland in Berkshire and the opportunity to bag a booty of chestnuts.
Bearing in mind, the weather we have had this summer, I cannot guarantee a good harvest of nuts. Although, the trees are looking healthy. So, please join me and your fellow members for some chestnut fun.
Park and meet at Simons Wood car park, Wellingtonia Avenue, Finchampstead , Wokingham, Berkshire RG45 6AE
Always bring water and dress appropriately as there could be mud.
DON'T FORGET YOUR CARRIER BAGS!
