Overview
Starting at the large free car park at Chilham which has public toilets, we initially follow the North Downs Way up to Kings Wood where hopefully the Bluebells will still be blooming before eventually turning down to cross Godmersham Park and its Mansion, once owned by Jane Austen's Brother Edward and then across the A28 to the village of Godmersham before once again heading uphill back to Chilham along the Stour Valley walk. Nothing booked for lunch but plenty of options, 2 pubs in Chilham, plus the Church Mouse Tearoom and Badgers Hill Farm Cafe across the road.
