We are the Telford & East Shropshire Ramblers. We open the way for everyone in our local community to enjoy the pleasures of walking.

Today we'll have a short walk of ~5 mile on Wenlock Edge then return to Much Wenlock for a Festive Lunch at the Gaskell Arms. This is a circular walk, where we'll follow a section of the Jack Mytton Way for the outward leg, and return on a section of the Shropshire Way. There's a short climb up to the Edge at the beginning of the walk, but at this time of the year - and weather permitting - we should be rewarded with wonderful panoramic views across the surrounding countryside. Join us to work up an appetite for Christmas Lunch.
Members can join us for the lunch if the walk is not for you, or just for the walk if the meal is not for you.
Parking available at the Pub for walkers.
We'll start and finish at the Gaskell Arms in Much Wenlock. The walk starts at 10am, and for those only coming for lunch you should aim to be at the pub for 12.15 so we can be seated by 12.30pm. Toilets will be available in the pub before the walk.
