We are the Calderdale Ramblers. We open the way for everyone in our local community to enjoy the pleasures of walking.
This is a short walk to sharpen the appetite before the Calderdale Ramblers Xmas lunch at the Wainhouse Tavern.
Non-lunchers are entirely welcome to join the ramble.
Meet at the Wainhouse Tavern car park, Darcey Hey Lane in Pye Nest, Halifax. The pub opens at 12, however they are happy for walkers to use their car parking if they are eating later. There is plenty of on-road parking nearby. The venue is less than 10 mins walk from Burnley Road bus stops served by the 590/592, and five minutes walk from bus stops on Rochdale Road, served by the 562 and 579 routes from Ripponden and Sowerby Bridge.
