CHRISTMAS WALK - 3 IN ONE WITH SHERRY AND MINCE PIES. 9.30 6 miles OR 1.30 5.5 miles.

SATURDAY 7 DECEMBER 2024 AT 9.15 FOR 9.30 START - CHRISTMAS WALK - 3 IN ONE WITH SHERRY AND MINCE PIES

Park and meet at : Canal Centre Mytchett Place Road, Camberley GU16 6DD

This a three in one event. One in the morning with sherry and mince pies half way. Then return to centre cafe for lunch or bring own snacks. There will be a second 5.5 mile walk in the afternoon also with sherry and mince pies half way.  You can do either walk or both. Please let me know what you wish to do and contact me to book.

WALK 1 (6 Miles) - Start at 9.30 - We walk over military land to Curzon's Bridge and along the Basingstoke Canal. We will stop briefly at a lock for sherry and mince pies (or bring own coffee and snacks.) Then continue along the canal back to the canal centre. Here we can have packed lunch or grab something from the cafe.

WALK 2 (5.5 miles) - Start  at 1.30. Walk along canal to the aquaduct where will stop for sherry and mince pies (or bring own coffee and snacks.) Then continue through the Blackwater Valley along the river back to the canal centre. Please bring a torch as it may start getting dark.
